Certifications

The center piece of our organization is our Agricultural Claims Certifications. Each certification lasts for three years then requires an on-line or conference training session covering updates in the basic courses for the certification program.

Certification consists of either a 5 or 10 part intensive course study in areas related to agricultural claims. The courses of study or "modules" will be led by industry leading experts in each area and will be a combination of online and classroom training.

Farm/Ranch Certified Specialist (FRCS)

The ACA’s Farm/Ranch Certified Specialist (FRCS) will consists of training courses 1 through 5 as outlined below. This certification will provide an intermediate understanding of topics most commonly handled in the farm/ranch industry. Testing will be conducted after each course completion and this certification can be completed online. This certification will position you above your peers.

Commercial Agricultural Certified Specialist (CACS)

The ACA’s Commercial Agricultural Certified Specialist (CACS) will consists of training courses 1 through 5 (FRCS Curriculum) along with your choice of 5 remaining courses totaling 10 modules which are required to be completed. Testing will be conducted after each course completion and this certification can be completed either online or a combination of online and classroom study depending on the courses selected.
